Before taking a saliva sample, don't drink or eat anything 30 minutes prior. Also don't brush your teeth.

Open the sterile test tubes and don't touch the cotton tip.

Wipe the cotton tip 30 seconds in your mouth, on the inside of your cheek, and between your teeth and the cheek.

Do this for all three test tubes.

Stick the included bar code on all individual tubes and close the box with the provided stickers. 

Put a stamp on the box and mail it with the normal mail to our GenLab.
